Horse Opera is a DJ duo based in Austin, TX and a dynamic force in the local dance scene.

Their sound transcends conventional boundaries with genre-spanning sets that pay homage to the earliest days of dance music. Their vibe draws from groovy, old school and decadent house that dips into funk, jazz, afrobeat, R&B, italo and pop.

They are residents at the LINE Hotel and frequently play for the popular party series Might Be Magic, hosted by DJ Brett Johnson, including being the debut headliner for the new Local Love party on Thursday nights. They have opened for Optimo (Espacio), Mike Servito, Blue Hawaii and DRAMA. They have played across Austin at Howards, Neon Grotto, MyOhMy, Cheer Up Charlies, Club Eternal, The Oven and more. With every set, they aim to dissolve boundaries on the dance floor and evoke the purest love for dance music track after track.
