Jacqui Devaney’s writing has appeared in The Wall Street Journal, Porter House Review, Dispatches Magazine, Chicago Review of Books, and is forthcoming from Discogs. She is at work on a novel and lives in Austin, Tx.

In 2025, she attended the Bread Loaf Writer’s Conference for fiction. In 2024, she was selected for a Writing by Writers Residency in Breckenridge, Colorado and was an inaugural participant for A Public Space’s weekend writer’s retreat.

In addition to being staples in the Austin night life scene, they’ve played in New York and San Francisco.
