Every week in her newsletter, Dinner Music, Jacqui sends a selection of left-field grooves and retro gems that blends unpretentious charm with her deep love for discovery and storytelling. After dinner, you’ll find her out and about as half of the DJ duo Horse Opera. In 2024 and 2025, they played Seismic Dance Event. In 2025, they played the DJ Mag SXSW party, opening for TSHA. They are residents for the Might Be Magic party series, hosted by Claudia Hernandez and DJ/producer Brett Johnson. In addition to being staples in the Austin night life scene, they’ve played in New York and San Francisco.

You can read more about Dinner Music and Jacqui’s philosophy’s on music in an interview she did with Anne Helen Petersen’s Culture Study newsletter.

During the day, she works as a content designer at Atlassian.
